Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between economic integration and labor market mobility within the European Union (EU). The study explores how deeper economic integration, characterized by the removal of barriers to trade and the harmonization of regulations, influences labor mobility among member states. By analyzing empirical data and reviewing existing literature, the paper identifies key trends, benefits, and challenges associated with labor mobility in the context of the EU’s economic integration. It also examines the impact of labor mobility on economic convergence, wage disparities, and employment patterns across member states. The study concludes with recommendations for policy measures to enhance labor market flexibility and address disparities in labor mobility outcomes.
