    • Author List and Affiliations: Provide complete information for all authors, including their full names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses. At least one author should be designated as the corresponding author, whose contact information should be listed clearly.
    • Abstract: The abstract should be no longer than 200 words and summarize the key findings, methods, and conclusions of the manuscript. It should not include references, undefined abbreviations, or results that are not discussed in the main text.
    • Keywords: Include three to ten keywords relevant to the manuscript. These should accurately reflect the content of the article and be commonly used terms in the field of EU economics and policy.
  2. Research Manuscript Sections:
    • Introduction: The introduction should place the research in context, providing an overview of the current literature and defining the scope of the study. It should also state the specific objectives of the research and its relevance to the European Union’s economic or regulatory landscape.
    • Objective of Study: Clearly outline the primary aims of the research and what the study seeks to accomplish. This should include any specific hypotheses or research questions.
    • Literature Review: Present a review of recent and relevant studies, with a minimum of 10 references from the past five years. This section should establish the academic foundation for the research, demonstrating the gap your study intends to fill.
    • Research Methodology and Design: Describe the research methodology in sufficient detail to allow others to replicate the study. Include information on data sources, analytical frameworks, and any software used in the analysis.
    • Results: Present your findings clearly and logically. Use tables, figures, and graphs to support your narrative. Ensure that the data presented is directly related to the objectives and hypotheses of the study.
    • Discussion: Interpret your findings in the context of previous research. Discuss their implications for EU economic policy or integration and suggest how they contribute to the broader field. Highlight any limitations of the study and areas for future research.
    • Conclusions: Summarize the key outcomes of the research, linking them back to the objectives and literature reviewed. Suggest the practical and policy implications of your findings for the EU.
  3. Back Matter:
    • Acknowledgments: Recognize any contributors who are not listed as authors but contributed to the research, along with any funding sources.
    • Conflicts of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
    • References: All references should follow the latest APA format. We encourage the use of reference management software to ensure accuracy and consistency. Manuscripts not adhering to APA style will be rejected.

Preparing Figures, Schemes, and Tables:

  • Figures, schemes, and tables must be provided as high-resolution files, with a minimum of 1000 pixels in width or height and a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
  • Figures and tables should be placed within the text close to their first mention. All figures and tables should be numbered and have concise captions, formatted according to APA guidelines.
  • Tables should be created using the Table function in Microsoft Word and should include explanatory headings for all columns. Smaller fonts may be used, but no less than 8-point size.

Authors are encouraged to submit figures and tables in color, as there is no additional cost for full-color graphics in the Economic Review of the European Union.
